1 Year Review- Should have posted sooner–
I went in knowing exactly what I want. Infiniti QQ 80. Knowing where I stand in credit. I saw the price online and came prepared. Young salesman Devon assisted me. I checked out the car from the windows. a/c, heater, radio, under car to check for leaks. Drevon said I was the first to be detailed in checking the vehicle in his presence. This was my first luxury vehicle and most expensive so all precautions were taken. When doing the credit check I knew it was no problem. He came back and said “Hey man that’s a nice house you have!”. Why are you checking to see where where I stay at and how I’m living!! That came across me wrong but said I appreciate it. Before signing I noticed that they charged an extra $1000 on top of the price that was posted online (see picture false advertisement 1 &2 ) . They said that the fee was to do 180 inspection on all auctioned cars . Yet one of the windshield wiper blades were bad and it passed inspection…I advised that the internet price should be listed on the sale price sheet and any extra fee should be itemized on the sale sheet, The liar in finance insisted he could not do that . I think his name was Colby. This was a bogus charge that I will be getting legal representation on. Yep.I’ll need that back. Even if its s year later. After giving in on it because I had to return my rental, I purchase it and my battery went out a week later. I called and they told me to bring it up there. Well the battery is dead so how can I. I ended up purchasing another battery.2nd week a notification of low wind shield wiper fluid popped up. It ended up being a bad sensor . I called them and they said they will have to charge…smh. Side note –I bought a car from another dealer 3 years ago in that area (Texas Carz) and they changed a bad tire for free after the purchase to keep the customer happy. Tx Whips does not care what happens after purchase. I bought the warranty and asked where their shop is. I looked it up online and it was a custom car shop. See picture (bogus repair shop). Why would I let them work on a foreign vehicle? Moving right along I received my plates in the mail very quick a though it was odd. Well a month later passed and I get a call from them saying that my plates are ready. I ask the lady to repeat herself and she gets an attitude. After I understand that she is really saying my license plates are ready, I tell her I already mounted mine. She says “Oh yeah we sent you the wrong ones..” Tx Whips never notified me about this!! They registered my name under another vehicle!!! (see attached wrong registration). I had to tell them to send me proof that this has been corrected!!! Moving right along, I noticed the steering wheel is loose when going over bumps. I could not feel this while test driving on a smooth road. I WILL BE ADDING “DRIVE OVER BUMPS” TO MY NEXT VEHICLE INSPECTION TO TEST SUSPENSION!! Lastly, every time I get gas, the check engine light comes on. I had to replace the cap to fix. It worked for a couple of weeks and now the lights stays on. Tried buying a OEM ($60 cap) and still no fix. Same cap error code from auto zone and Advanced Auto Parts when trouble shooting check engine (see attached check engine/ washer fluid pic). I dont think my warranty covers this but will have to take to the shop. I certainly would not buy from here again! You can obviously see what type of customer care the offer by not responding to the reviews.

I purchased a 2016 Dodge Ram online from Whips. This was a new experience for me especially since I live in Georgia and Whips is in Texas. I spoke with Omar on the phone several times and exchanged many, many texts with Omar walking me through the process. He NEVER pressured me to purchase the vehicle and was patient with me. This was a two week process from getting a check from NFCU, FedEx it to Whips, waiting a week for the check to clear, and paying for inter-state transport via payment apps! My nerves were a little stressed, but when the truck arrived, it was wonderful. Even the transport driver was amazing. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Whips.

Eddie responded quickly to my interest in the mini cooper I’ve been looking at. I was able to go and test drive it right away. Eddie was so friendly and personable. The only thing that I had a problem with was that with the credit score I had, my personal check wasn’t allowed…..not Eddie’s fault. Management wouldn’t take it. Everything else was great! Colby was excellent at his job too!!!

Omar was the best car salesman I’ve ever met, not too pushy which I really appreciate, Colby in finance worked with me and got me to where I want to be. Overall a solid team at whips, I will be coming back for repeat business and telling my family/friends. If you’re on the market for a used car please go see them. Drove an hour to meet with them and check out their lot. You won’t regret it !

I’d recommend a million times to purchase your next vehicle from here. Danny went above and beyond and was more than patient with me. Service is impeccable and the cars are so clean and well maintained. I’d definitely come back for future purchases.
